eat my own words, click the link below. So a few weeks back on air (I work for a radio station) I said, "I think I can beat Shane Doan (Captain of the Phoenix Coyotes) in a skate off." Skate off = a race pretty much. There is only one problem, I've never ice skated. The reason why I thought I could take him is............... well I play roller hockey and I'm pretty quick, for a over 30 player :) Anyway Shane excepted my challenge and said he'd skate backwards. do you place roller hockey or just Rollerblade i used to be pretty fast. i think i picked up ice skating cause of roller blading

That was freaking funny. It was like watching an older brother taunt a little brother "catch me if you can little boy". Big difference between rollerblade and iceskates. I thought the same thing you did before the first time I stepped on the ice, that a whole different animal

The rematch on brollerblades will be after the season. "The Great One" won't let him till after.......D

Cool stuff Drew...

I have met Shane Doan a couple of times. I am not really a hockey fan, both times were pretty random. Once was in Vegas at a Charity Poker Tourney, and the other was at a restaurant here in the Valley. He actually remembered me from the Poker tourney and approached me in the restaurant to say hello.

I gotta say, he is one of the nicest guys I have ever met! Just a genuinely great guy. I am sure you got the same impression.
