Hi All:
A friend and I are planning on going camping next weekend and I'd like to find out what areas are still closed so you don't have to come visit us behind bars. Besides, my name isn't Bubba, nor would I like it to be :)
Is there a website that lists what is still closed? Thanks!

Jeeps with girls on them? Seems like a waste to me. We'd be so busy
looking at the suspensions and stuff that the girls would be all but
unnoticed.

Since Miller is a pretty poor version of a watered-down American
pils style beer, are the girls and Jeeps going to be watered-down as
well? LOL!!! Nothing like Jeeps and wet t-shirts to help determine
what day of the week it is... :P

will weigh 4065 pounds. I still haven't made my Aluminum hood and side

I found time to install my new 5 point harnesses today.
I'd like to thank Wayne Richardson over at OR Fab for welding in the horizontal bar and tabs for the eye bolts. It took a bit of extra work to bend it to clear the seats yet fit inside the new Bestop Halftop. He did a great job!
And a special thanks to my wife Theresa for getting these for my upcoming birthday on Sept 1st. Over the last couple of years she has bought me a Warn 9500 winch, Mastercraft Racing Seats, and now the 5 point harnesses. I guess I better keep her around for another year. There's those high pinion Dynatrac Pro Rock 60's that I still want. ;)
Now if I can only remember to close the door BEFORE I put the harnesses on.

Been weighing mine for 8 or 9 months as I've been weight adjusting and
moving weight around, for balance. Currently, with all the gear I carry in
the field, tools, water, etc., a full tank of gas, and myself (185 lbs) in
the Jeep, it weighs:
- Front 2200 lbs
- Rear 2240 lbs
Total -> 4440 lbs
Note that there is only 40 lbs difference between the front and rear weights
now !!
I use a split platform, certified truck scale here in Tucson, accurate to 20
lbs
When I originally weighed the Jeep for the 1st time, I had:
- Front 2040 lbs
- Rear 2460 lbs
Total -> 4500 lbs
But the really important thing, is not the lose of 60 lbs in total weight,
but the change in weight distribution. From 420 lbs rear weight bias, to,
now, 40 lbs rear weight bias !!
Best,
Fred

Subject: question about 8.8s
Has anyone installed one of the 8.8 rear ends out of the explorer into a yj.
I'm considering going this route because of the rear disk setup. I've heard
along the way that it's as durable as the 44's. And also it wil bolt right
up with very little modifications. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Also, is there a certain year I should be looking for.

just to let you guys kmow ,I just instaled an 18" electric cooling fan on to
my 93 YJ from a 2002 liberty Part # 55037659aa.You will have to trim the
shroud at the top & bottom & redrill some holes in the rad mounting bracket
on the sides.I removed my rad to do this .4 ,3/8 spacers were installed
between the new rad housing & the mounting bracket. It cost me $150.00
canadian.(I work at a chrysler dealership).Looks like it was there from
factory

I am not sure if the Libby has an AL rad or not, but if it doesn't and it
keeps a Libby cool then it should work to keep a Wrangler cool.

Hi All:
A friend and I are planning on going camping next weekend and I'd like to find out what areas are still closed so you don't have to come visit us behind bars. Besides, my name isn't Bubba, nor would I like it to be :)
Is there a website that lists what is still closed? Thanks!

looking at the suspensions and stuff that the girls would be all but

Since Miller is a pretty poor version of a watered-down American
pils style beer, are the girls and Jeeps going to be watered-down as
well? LOL!!! Nothing like Jeeps and wet t-shirts to help determine

Total -> 4440 lbs
Total -> 4500 lbs
But the really important thing, is not the lose of 60 lbs in total weight,
but the change in weight distribution. From 420 lbs rear weight bias, to,
now, 40 lbs rear weight bias !!

Subject: Electric fan option
This was on JU, I thought it would be good information.
-------------
just to let you guys kmow ,I just instaled an 18" electric cooling fan on to
my 93 YJ from a 2002 liberty Part # 55037659aa.You will have to trim the
shroud at the top & bottom & redrill some holes in the rad mounting bracket
on the sides.I removed my rad to do this .4 ,3/8 spacers were installed
between the new rad housing & the mounting bracket. It cost me $150.00
canadian.(I work at a chrysler dealership).Looks like it was there from
factory
--------------
I am not sure if the Libby has an AL rad or not, but if it doesn't and it
keeps a Libby cool then it should work to keep a Wrangler cool.
