last time I got that deep, cleaned everything (I thought) out, only to blow head gasket ... thought was due to foamy oil.... replaced and blew again.... water in gas tank (only about 2 gal)... something to think about (if you have not already)

Thanks for the advice Olney, I will look into it. Everything seem fine so far. Just a bit of a problem with tranny slippage still. I'm going to take it in and get a complete tranny fluid exchange done first thing in the morning. Everything else looks good so far.

What was the name of that wash/river?

That was Sycamore Creek which is usually dry.

You guys must really like changing out all of your fluids ...... never saw the attraction with deep water crossing...

Diffs love the muddy junk,,,, so do transmissions,, bet the throttle body liked it as well.

fun looking at the photos but happy it wasn't me

lol jeff prolly not a good idea to ask cory about fluids right now... he still twitches a bit when you say that word. we call them different names now :D

Engine oil - chocolate milk
tranny fluid - strawberry milkshake
Tcase - was fine
Diffs - turkey gravy with no stuffing.

Now im hungry :(

one H2o crossing and an afternoon in the garage.. a case of ATF for what 40 bones Oils and filter for 20 bones.... Gear oils depending on the axles... somewhere arounts 25 bucks......... def worth it...

Strawberry milkshake..... sounds good right now though

Well the final price with the 2 tools I had to buy and everything else came out to about 326 and some change. But definitely worth it. Now I just have to flush the radiator, clean the mud out from the inside. Clean the seats. And figure out why Nemo is swimming in my speedometer!! :O lol. But I will say that I am not going to do that again any time soon. With the time waisted on the trail to get me out of the water then off the trail we could have just waited ten minutes and the water would have probably gone down enough to make that crossing easier!!! But hind sight is always 20/20!

I don't understand why the hell you'd do something that puts you into this position... I really don't. We all take risks. I have taken my share of them as well. But not like this...

My Jeeps on one/3 quater tons and 38's ..... hey I have a great idea... lets drive across saguaro lake.... rolleyes.......... I just don't get it...

Jeff guess you had to be there. Most of the crossings were fine including the first one that we went across to the to the side we were coming from when we got stuck. As it has been said the water was still low enough that we could make it back fine but we hit a large rock where we thought it was relatively slower and the water started to get deeper.

Dont think you CAN understand it unless you were there.

And I forgot to mention that this is BELLE driving! First time wheeling..
