AZOHVC Fundraiser

Hi All,

Just wanted to toss out a little something we are going to try to help raise funds for the coalition. It doesn't take any extra time or money for you to participate. It is a program called GoodSearch. It is a search engine fundraising effort that utilizes Yahoo's Search Engine and takes the advertising dollars that would typically come in and donates them to charities and organizations like ours. So please start using this service for all of your searching needs and the money will go a long way towards keeping your trails open in Arizona for future generations. For all of you Sys Admins on the board go ahead and change the search functions of your companies browsers to go to this link also. If we can get behind this it can really rack up dollars for our cause.

I will give it a try for a while and see how it works. I did a few searches and the amount raised changed from 12 cents to 15 cents. Looks to be pretty cool.

Thanks for embracing "Goodsearch" fella's. It's definitely a long term money raiser, but for the 2005/2006 year they actually donated 1.3 cents a search. The more people that use it the more we can use towards keeping our trails open.

Well it definitely got me thinking when I saw it being used for a different charity. I feel that with the size of this group we can really do some good things with this money.
