Thanksgiving weekend run feeler...

Been thinking about playing in Florence Junction the weekend after Turkey Day. Nothing hard as there might a stock jeep and a golf cart (off road type) with us. Box Canyon, Martinez Cabin etc.. No hard date or time yet.

An update on date and time. I'm thinking Saturday around noon. Haven't decided on Price road or Cottonwood canyon yet.

Alright, 1pm at Price Road Highway 79. Do Box, then the Cabins. Either come back the same way or come out on Cottonwood depending on time.

A pretty decent days run. Had 2 stock TJ's run with me on pretty much thier first time out 4-wheeling, and they had a blast. Ran up Box Canyon, checked out play hill where a Landcruiser group was playing around, all somewhat built too, that was fun to watch as they were all capable of climbing up.

We then headed back out towards Cottonwood, where I stopped to play at the entrance to Upper Woodpecker, and managed to poke a hole in the sidewall of my right rear tire. Put a couple plugs in and headed home from there.

Oh yea, the water fall between Cottonwood and Box Canyon has been restacked again. http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/showthread.php?t=28060&highlight=box+canyon It's pretty much like the before picture again. Thanks for the effort though guys. We would have destacked it again, but it became a major traffic route no sooner after we cleared the waterfall.
