I'm a go tenatively. Lots of time between now and then. Being a single dad sometimes throws surprises at you... like an out of town soccer game:lurk5: Its all good though.

I can also tailgun if I bring my TJ. If I have my XJ I'd rather have someone behind to pick up the pieces:)

Getting out of the rat race is the main reason we are moving. Up there is better for my kids and my constitution. Thanks for the heads up on getting the jeep worked on. If your ever coming up that way let me know and we’ll hit some trails. I love the fact that I can get to a trail in 15 minutes instead of an hour.:10900:

Brad, I started with the VJC first since we have plenty of members that are customers...Then the mass email directly targeted at wrangler customers in the last 12 months...Around 1000. I figure we will see a 2% Return there...=54if everyone here shows Tentative and Attending members. My count today was 10, then some of you guys can't print or not sure..so 54 is what I expect.

i only have one thing to say CHOC CHIP COOKES
GLAD YOUR COMING STEVE WE WILL NEED HELP

Have passed the cookie message to the baker.

My son is also supposed to attend ( he just bought a used Jeep). We did CK Monday night, no problems for him (6 inch lift, 35" tires, soft lockers, roll cage, long arms). The owners only put it on one dirt road the entire time they owned it.

I was looking at the numbers, and it might be a good idea to consider making two runs, an hour apart. If we time it right, one group has left the mine just as the other arrives to visit. Works out well for lunch too.

Then again, what do I know?

I thought I've seen it all when it comes to irresponsible people on our trails.
But taking or thinking about taking 50 people on a regular basis that can't tell the difference between a Headlamp switch & a Wiper switch takes the big price. Needless to say the overall destruction to the trail by stockers stacking , spinning & ramming stuff. Thanks for your comitment to destroy one of our trully nice trail . You call this a customer apreciation run ?
Sorry to disappoint you some of us don't apreciate that especially in the name of money....

Wow, welcome to the forum.... Obviously you have some experience with our runs and have seen how we treat our trails, NOT! It's not the number of rigs, its how they are handled. 5 or 50 rigs will have the same impact on this trail, as long as you stay ON it.
Thanks for showing us who you are early, maybe you could have a more positive impact if you wheeled with us a little.

I would like to welcome you along, so you can see what the azvjc is all about.
This is not in the name of $$$...they already spent their $$$ with us! I could have 200 rigs show and it would not impact the trail at all. Most of the stockers as described will be the new JK jeep...which I don't consider a stocker at all!! Anyways, join us and I would 100% feel your post will be different afterwards.....

If this was a "trail" and not a ROAD, I would tend to agree with Penas4x4. How ever it is a road, and as long as everyone treads lightly, I see no problem with it. 22 vehicles rather than 50. Please guys, while your out there, police the trail, (pick up trash).
:beatdeadhorse5:There are some "trails" where excessive traffic can do damage. I think the biggest problem we have with the trails in this state is uneducated, unethical, Macho ism, the rules pertain to all but me types. The "WORD" hasn't reached most of the unwashed buying ORV's. If the manufacturing companies and dealers really cared, they would attempt to pass ethics and common sense on to the customer at the time of the sale.:sifone:

50 jeeps caravaning up the beeline will be cool. when we did the rodeo chedeski (sp) fire charity relief run on june 27th 2002 we had 113 VJC'rs caravaning from fountain hills to payson all loaded with donated supplies. was my first run with the club and was great to see such a turnout. 30 - 35 jeeps was what was expected.

I'm out at the last minute. My wife thought it would be nice to get me a Jeep dog since my small dogs don't like the car. We picked up Maddie yesterday but as much as she loved riding in my CJ she has some serious trust issues with the male gender. I think this run would be to much for her and I don't feel right leaving her for 10 hours when she needs to get to know me. Sorry for the last minute Jason. You all have a good time. Give my lunch to one of the crashers.

You know I am scrolling back just a few threads back. I read 9:30 sharp. I was there and Jason pulled in 9:30 sharp. The majority of group pulled out of the baja gas station at 9:20. The orginal layout stated the exact way the majority of the group executed, meet time 9am, depart 9:15. I myself just happened to check the threads before I departed. Jason changed the meet time to 9:30. I can see where everything went bad.

Thank you for everyone who showed and participated today. Most of you we never saw..I will not point fingers. The next Airpark run will be guided by Airpark employees and not club members. The trip was scheduled for 9:30 sharp as noted on the official Airpark website. Airpark and adn others arrived on time and ready to run. We were flat left behind on our own run. Reading the first post..the info may have been misleading..the offical run info was 9:30am where everyone signed up on www.airparkchryslerjeep.com
