Ok I am going to throw this out there and see if anybody wants to run upper woodpecker on Sunday? I have been looking at some other threads and I just cant seem to tell if anybody would be available on Sunday:rolleyes:, say around 8:00am at the flag pole?

as for the 180 bucks an axle.. I dunno.. I can't answer that as I got them for free... but I like them help alot with flex... never had problems, other then the fact they catch on water falls, PD was a perfect example.

I might not have enough gas money to make the run. Things have slowed down quite a bit at the shop and I'm poor now. I'll try to squeeze by and make it though.

Count me in but I have to take my sissy jeep, an 05 Ruby that is all show and very little go, Ie.. the boss say's "NO body damage". My 80 cj5 is still down and out, fuel systems parts are harder to aquire than I thought.

It does not turn into vineyard it turns into gantzell at ocotillo. You can not go south on schnepf from ocotillo, it is closed. It is easy enough to look at the map only if the map for the area is right but far to often google, map quest, and yahoo maps are wrong for this area. The rest of your directions were correct though.

Allen there is not a chevron by frys, that's a circle k, the chevron is about a mile south on hunt highway on the east side of the rd.

WOW, this was a killer run ( a little long) but killer none the less.

The highlights: A few in the group ran lower woodpecker or the bypass to the main obsticals on lower I how ever couldnt make it through either (I tried) after lower we hit upper and everybody did window rock including me for the first time, Steve and Mark ran firehole and everybody made it over the devils back. My 11 year old son ran the rest of the trail and I apologize to the rest of the group for going so slow but I have to say he did an EXCELLENT JOB on the obsticals and he took the rest of the hard line up to and including the up and over at the squeeze. Yes he is 11 and yes I do have open diffs but he made that trail his personal BISH.

The pics: I am not sure I can load mine or not I will try but it appears that my camera is broke, but there were a couple other cameras out there so pics should be coming soon.

The carnage: Not to bad today, Adam broke his lower radiator neck and had to shut it down and Frank put a rock through the oil pan and after a quick trail fix he was on his way. That was it

One oil pan that had to be trail welded, JB weld and finally a ton of RTV.

Adam rode bioch with me since his radiator broke.

I am very happy with the way the rig is working. Still need to make a few adjustments but overall it worked great. Sorry for having to have someone pop my springs back on after each big flex :p I need to put keepers on.

Had a blast but way too long after getting home so late last night.

Many thanks to Jim, Adam, and Bill for catching 4 quarts of oil, fixing the leak, and not harassing me too bad! You guys seriously rock! :punk:

The pics are great, but definitely don't do Window Rock justice. It's the steepest side-to-side angle I've been on and I know my legs don't make good kick stands!

Plus I'll try to be lighter on the stupid pedal so I don't take out my spotters! :willy_nilly:
