I bent my lower tie rod, plus the bushings are shot and I need something to get me by until I can save some $ for the Currie unit. If anyone has 1, let me know!

Thanks,
Adam

I have one you can borrow for a while. It is off an XJ but I use it as the spare in my TJ. It is rusty, old and has been bent back into shape...it is pretty straight and it should get you around town but I wouldn't wheel it...really I shouldn't even use it as a spare but I figure it will get me home if I need it...

Really I should just get a beefy tie rod...ever thought about doing the ZJ tie rod mod? You can put a v8 ZJ tie rod on TJ's and XJ's and I think it can be done for all under $100. I think that is what I am gonna do soon. BillR has one and it looks twice as thick as mine.

Shoot me a PM if you need it, I should be here all day wrenching on the CJ.

I did this poor man's upgrade on my XJ and am going to do it on the wife's TJ and XJ also.........You can get the 97-98 V8 Equipped ZJ tie rod at AMC 4x4 for just a tad over a 100.00 with tax. Includes new tie rods and ends.
It is considerably beefier then a stock tie rod. Ours is hollow an puny. The ZJ one is bigger and solid.

AMC 4x4, ask for Nacho....623-937-5899

I've got a slightly bent one that I changed out. One of the outer tie rod ends is stuck so it won't spin, but you're welcome to it. It's collecting dust on my floor. I replaced it with a fab'd tie rod from DesertFab.
