Then you ain't been wheeling enough...I get stuck all the time(I also wheel stuff besides rocks, I never get stuck in rocks)...unfortunately I only have that one pic of me stuck which was almost all driver error...and not very cool of a stuck.

Like they always say, "you ain't wheelin' till you get stuck or break something."

Don't worry Jason, come up for a snow run this winter and we'll getcha stuck good.:devilish:

Rocky Point trying to winch a Superduty. I actually got him out at first and he got stuck again. This was after the second time and I got stuck in quicksand. I was able to use the Ford as an anchor and winched myself out. The truck stayed there for two days before a local got him out with a bulldozer.

Not so much stuck as too scared to do anything...

FJ on the way to Martinez. Ya'll know this hill by the water tank. In the rain, I decided to descend off the lip on the right. Lets just say I should have not been on the brakes at all (even if it is was dry - duh). I was sideways in the clay before I knew it and just slid about 25 feet down... the whole time thinking I was going to roll. Look at the gouges in the hillside. Yikes.

I decided to go check out the table mesa area on my own with no intentions of wheeling any thing too hard. I attempted an obstacle that was harder than it looked (hind sight) and got me stuck. LST: It taught me a good lesson on "being prepared" which i did not know what that really meant. Thanks to the guys that pulled me out at 8pm after my wife bought and brought me the hi lift and tow strap We live in Prescott). I won't be caught unprepared again!!!!!!

This was in Skunk Creek just off of 51st Ave. The blue Chevy was mine. I had just detailed every inch of it and put an ad in the Truck Trader when a friend called me and said he needed some help. I didn't even get to try to pull him out before I sunk the front tire completely below the surface just trying to back close enough for the straps we had to reach. A kid on a bike was watching and went to get his dad with a Dodge Ram diesel. He was able to get me out. I think we used about 6 straps to get to the other truck and stay on dry ground.

A friend and I drove up north passed Sheep's Crossing to Child's intending to cross the river there. The Verde was too deep and we didn't want to bounce back down the road we came on. The tire carrier had snapped in half while driving up. We camped at the river and in the morning, we found a spot on the map that cut over to Dugas and out to I-17. Another guy in a Dodge Ram that was camped near us felt the same way about going back and decided to join us. The road was nice and smooth and we were making great time until we got up near the top and came around a bend and everything was covered in snow (this was in the spring). We had to keep making full throttle runs to cut through the packed snow for about 30 feet at a time and then back up and go again. Luckily the other guy had a winch because it was needed a few time that day. To get his truck through the last drift shown here, we needed to use straps to trees on the side to keep him from sliding off the side while winching forward. We used shovels and a machete to chop the grooves deeper in the drift to keep me from sliding off as I worked my way through it. The section with the snow was only about a mile long but took us 8-10 hours to get through.

I drove down off the rocks and was immediately sucked to the side into the cat tails. Forward or reverse only moved me straight sideways. I had to have a guy in a stock purple Nissan pull me out.:pinch:

Got stuck in a little bit of sand at Monument Valley. My father-in-law was still nice enough to yank me out after I gave him a dirt shower.

This was a forest road near Williams. We had three Jeeps, all were stuck at one time... I got a winch for Xmas that year after the hours we spent on this trail.

It may not look like much, but it was my rubi, a cj5 with a V8 to pull out a grand cherokee that was REALLY stuck. Same Williams trip.

Not my picture, but I think we could still appreciate it. They should have bought Jeeps:

I have a great one from Smiley rock somewhere that it took us 8 hours to get 3 jeeps 100 ft because we kept high-centering on rocks... that was the first week I had it.

LOVE THE THREAD!!!!

I don't know why I am posting these, they are kinda embarrassing.:skull: I guess it will give you guys a good laugh.

Here is what you get when you mix wet ground, AT tires, and a vacume disco D30 :aagh:....................

http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r202/skywalker2117/JEEP%20STUFF/100_0205.jpg

Doesn't look like much, but my jeep wouldn't go into 4 wheel drive because some battery acid(I think) had dropped onto the lines for the disco, and my back tires kept digging in.

.......man my jeep was clean back then..........:skull:

I'm also stuck in this picture. No power = stuck. The hi-lift did the trick to get it on the trailer.
