A few of us ran the Desoto mine trail yesterday. We ran it "backwards" of the way that it is listed in the Wells book.
Had a great time.
Only casualties were the rear track bar mount on the JK (not the first time it has given up the ship. DO NOT go to All-Jacked up in Surprise unless you want to get jacked up), and the rear window zipper on the wifes TJ (ripped the zipper stitching on both the window and the top itself when we were in Crown King getting ready for the COLD ride back).
Ran into (not literally) the owner of Desert Mountain Fab. Nice guy and a really nice YJ.
All in all it was great day.
