I was foolin around today, trying to think of a new bumper to build since I been building the box bumpers for the ZJ and XJ lately figured id build one for the TJ. So after looking around with what scraps of metal I have I came up with this new TJ boxed bumper. Well im not sure if this is the bumper I want to build for my Jeep, there is a few things Id like to change about it. After building this one I have came up with more ideas which im gonna add to the next bumper. This bumper is 42 1/2" long 1/4" thick all around, has a built in skid plate on the bottom. So yes this bumper is very heavy duty and weighs around 60lbs. This bumper also has to holes on each corner for some off road lights. I made a set of 2 1/2" x 4" clevis tabs with 1" hole for a 7/8" D-ring. (Tow hooks on top of bumper are not included!)If anyone is interested in buying this bumper for $350.00 please send me a pm, thanks! :D

Here are a few pics below of the bumper after being built and mounted on my Jeep! This bumper has not been painted yet, I have the paint just waiting til someone buys it so I can paint it and install it on there Jeep. :)

That is very cool. One suggestion might be to flatten out the bottom part but leave the section that protects the steering box...flattening out the angled bottom but leaving the steering box protection IMO would look very awesome and work just as well while being a little more trim and perhaps lighter.
