So I know a few of us are going to the races this weekend, I went to the truck race on friday, so I started a thread for everyone's pics from the weekend. :D

....quals kinda sucked b/c most of my drivers DNC :(. none of the waltrip racing cars made it, poor David R. didn't even get a chance b/c his motor blew on his warm up lap. Only one redbull car made it.

The truck guy were prepping for their quals all day (Mike Skinner got the pole!:D)

My apologies Beater XJ they are great pics and I hope you enjoyed the race. My first race I attended was in 1964 in Richmond and thats when they were running the Fords with 427's. I tease my young nephews about Toyota being in Nascar and we all just laugh it off. I didn't mean to offend,just tease. Sorry if I put a cloud on your thread. Take care my friend.

No problem skeeter, I just didn't want to see any arguments get out of hand. Those must have been some crazy races to watch with those big heavy cars and big CID motors. :D

I think (and my apologies if I am wrong) Pac's point is that Skeeter needs to watch his mouth.

Just like we are not the same people who enslaved blacks in the South, the owners of Toyota are not the same ones who fought Americans back in WWII. In fact a majority of Toyota's are built HERE in the US by AMERICAN hands. I am by no means a Toyota fan... I like Jeeps, Dodge, Chrysler, Minis, etc.

It was a good race and good to see people of all ethnicities, backgrounds, and legal status just out enjoying a Sunday afternoon at the races.

They were crazy and scary and very,very,loud ! If you go to the car show at the Scottsdale Mc'Donalds on Sat. nights, A guy there has a replica of one and you can tell by looking, they were a hand full.
