Nothing wrong with stock. My first 3 TJs were stco, and I managed to go everywhere I wanted to go with them. I now have a Rubi, but with the exception of a new front bumper and 3" lift, it is stock.
Welcome. You'll find that this is a great group of people. (Mostly the ones named Dave, David, etc.....) Look forward to seeing you on the trails.

I am new to Jeeping and I am pretty much stock too. My theory: It's better to learn on a stock machine and build it up slowly as you learn than to get something that you don't understand. I think the latter might tend to get one in trouble.
Welcome!

I think most of us started out with stockers and added on when we could afford it. Over the years I pretty much hit most of the trails from not so hard to very hard, all in a stock jeep. You'll be surprised when you go low and slow and pick the right lines how far a stock jeep will go. One thing to remember is be careful of your wallet as you add on over the years, because with jeeps the add on's never seem to stop. And it becomes an addiction as they come up with new and better equipment. So if you ever have any questions about jeeps you've come to the right place. I know from personal experience that there's good people in this club that know jeeps from bumper to bumper and everything under and above them. So don't be shy when asking for advice. They'll save you alot of time and money. Enjoy and welcome to the jeep family. Skeeter.
