Ohiotj was begging me to run LT all day yesterday and after a long day at work I would have rather have come home and opened a cold one! After numerous calls and me avoiding them I answered the phone and sayed...OK. Who could pass up a chance to go wheeling close to home;)

Ohiotj and I ran LT last night around 7PM and wow was it washed out! All the sand/gravel has moved from summer monsoons and rocks etc and combined with the trail being destacked it seemed more challenging. We moved through the trail at a good pace until we hit the bypass for terminator and POP goes another (2) Procomp X-terrain! After changing out the tire we decie to take it easy as I had no spare on my jeep..either did ohiotj! We hit another bypass and BAM, I fell off a ledge and whacked a rear bodymount...lets just says its bent bad!! Moving throught the rest of the trail you can surely tell the trail has changed along with overgrown trees/shrubs.

I would say 33's and a locking rear axle is a must on this trail, 31's would make a long day.....

Jason

***EDIT***

Upon further inspection(daylight) it appears to be minor and the PS crusher corner took a bit of impact again minor fix

We brought an open/open XJ on 31s through there about a month ago. It was pretty difficult with a flat tire and a little winching. The trail is definitely a little bit harder than it was last year.

Thats sounds like fun:rolleyes:

Your right Jaime the trail has more challenges and the bad, looks like more bypasses were created by cutting down trees:(

Dumb question, but I would like to see or find maps of the trails, is there such a thing? I study google earth, and can referrence from the wash, but am still lost in finding trails like terminator, predator, so on. thx!

not a dumb questions but they arent posted anywhere and wont be. If you wanna go out, post up a run and request a leader with your specs of your rig. thats the only way youll get to know where they are.

Thanks for the generous offer. I have a stock tj only mod being 31's and a cb. My dad has a mild CJ. We like to explore the area together, and would appreciate somewhat of an area guide. I'll be sure to post about runs like you said, and find you come Jan. Thanks!
