What are the issues if running a CJ7 with narrow track suspension, then upgrading to full width axles, but keeping with the narrow track suspension width?
Thanks Walter

Hey Walter,
I'm no expert, but I had seen it a few different ways. I'm sure there are others, but this is what I had seen on rigs of friends;
1) outboard the springs
or
2) mount the leaf on the pad that is cast into the GM diff, move the other pad inward to the other spring, cut the long side down and have a custom shaft :eek:
or
3) Have you thought about Scout axles?

These are your options.
Scout axles you still need to move spring mounts on the frt. outboard of th frame.

X3 on the options. Outboarding the springs is probably the cheapest way to go. Its not really that hard to do. The advantage is not having to get custom axles made. You will probably have to limit your up travel some to keep the driveshaft out of the frame. It would probably depend on the offset of the pumpkin but I know that I had an issue with this. Good luck if you decide to do it.
