So Im still trying to get all the stuff on my end taken care of with work, the jeep, etc so on. Its been way too long since Ive been on the trail and the Jeep is getting too many road miles- time for some dirt.

If anyone is free to lead a group out to WT two weekends from now that would be great. I would say next weekend but its NASCAR weekend and I've got like 10 people staying at the house saturday so cant do that...

I might be able to show you a few good trails, I know where Tax Collector, Firebird,Ruler, Scorpion,Turtle Falls and Tie Rod wash are. Will have to check with the boss and see if I can get some time off......

Appetizer is not a trail, it's a garbage dump. Intimidator is left of Turtle falls? I forgot that one. I have never done Landslide, but it might be marked on my GPS. That doesn't mean I can find it though. :o

Not even close....

Yeah Roger, are you referring to this:

Yes Wayne, Intimidator is left of Turtle Falls. Turtle Falls is just right of the entrance, Drew. And since I see 2 stock tie rods Wayne, what is on HYJAK now? Currie? And Landslide is that one fall we do in the wash to the left on the way to TC. It is only the beginning of a LONG trail.

Another stock tie rod...... Tom Hatch had his old setup, I traded him a mount for a CO2 tank for it.
I talked to Toys by Troy yesterday, next month I will probably be sporting some Aluma-flex. When I do, I will give you the stock tie rod I'm running now, Lance. Anybody have any luck straightening these stock rods out? I would like to re-enforce it with a solid rod down the inside.....
Just got the saws-all out and made quick work of the exhaust. The right rear shock took a hit but is still working, don't know for how long with the exhaust so close.
Anyway, I should be a go for this run, unless I manage to do something in Cherry creek this weekend......

Don't sweat it Wayne. TXT huh? I would sleave the outside with a hi-lift handle or similar before doing the inside.

Well it looks like this is going to be a good run, count me in. I have some idea of the trails in the WT but not sure if I could lead without several U turns. what time do you want to start this run?

I would like to go earlier in the day, sometime. Maybe meet around 10 am, let people sleep it off a little and meet up for a late morning run.

I will check this topic as often as I can. My home PC is now broken :( I can only check VJC related stuff from friends/work PC's, so apology in advance if I reply slow.

Sorry about this trip guys. Not only has my PC been broken but we came down with the flu this week. Well actually food poisoning- which is much worse for anyone whos had it. This trip didnt even dawn at me until 9 am this morning when 06TJ gave me a call asking where I was.

My sincere apologies to everyone and thanks to Dustin for going out there last minute!

holy cow, I was thinking of running tax collector then firebird for the first time (solo) on my way out west to geocache, but after looking at Wayco's tie rod, I think I'll just run tax collector. Good job!
