i had started my little project of replacing my stock brake lights with some flush mounted non led lights and my hitch receiver was tied into it and no is all a mess will someone enlighten me on how to fix this ill be home all day tomorrow i can be reached at 480-361-5637 ill drive to you if that helps but need fixed by sun night

Also Terron bring a volt meter with you. I dont have one here at the house it is at work along with my other tools.
I havent started my garage tool sets yet, but will soon as I start to replace some of my tools at work with newer updated tools.

I just finished doing some leds today. its easy to figure out which wire is what if you have a vom or test light.:D

I have a test light and complete access to all wiring diagrams for any vehicle.
Just no dvmm

All you really need is a test light. I just cut the wires going into the stock lights and then after doing the ground wire on the leds I turned the lights on and looked for 12v on the wires and hooked up the tail light. Then had my grandson press the brake and looked for 12v and hooked up the brake/turn light.
I still need to do the license plate and backups though.

Got him all figured out..
Found a missing fuse for the exterior lights? Dunno where it went, he has no idea.
wired in new LEDS he bought instead.
turn signal, brake and running lamp work, just needs to do is license plate light and back up lights.

Sounds like you got everything taken care of, plus seems like you are on the other side of the world compared to me. I installed STOMPER's LED taillights a couple of months ago. Seemed like a simple project [as long as you have all the necessary tools for the job}. Glad to hear all is working.

And all this time I thought Stomper was doing his own work. :rolleyes: Some people can really be misleading. :D
