Sure, the TJ will be working by then...I might have to help Raul(350cj5) take out his engine, replace some seals and then re-install it. We'll see. Mark me down as tenative.

I may be up for the trip on the 24th. Are you still planning this one since you'll be on Broken Arrow this weekend? I'll need to call and see what hotel prices are for the holiday weekend.

This looks like alot fun, I'll plan on going too if the weather is looking good. I don't think I've been to Sedona since 2004 when it was my current jeep's very first wheeling trip. Prior to that it was my very first arizona wheeling ever back in 99.

I wonder if the red planet diner is still around... that used to be my favorite place for lunch and dinner.

I replaced the clutch and stuff and I think it needs a trans rebuild...it looks like I might be temporarily putting in that t-150 I told you about...OR it needs the rear axle rebuilt...but the CJ needs more work...I was so close:banghead::banghead:

I will have a "band aid" t-150 in place of my t-18 by then it looks like...I might show up but it is starting to look booked up. If a few drop out and I really get another tranny in the CJ I will be there.

I guess if we break into groups of 5 or so it should be perfect.

Right here (http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/showthread.php?t=28146)! :)

Thanks so much to BillR for leading... he did a great job of herding a pretty large group through the trail.

It was just gorgeous out there tonight. This was my first real night run, and it was a good one for a debut. The surrounding buttes just looked surreal as they loomed over is in the moonlight. And the string of jeeps snaking through the trail was a very cool sight. :D

I will say the trail is much different in the dark. :dizzy2: Depth is definitely lacking, making obstacles appear much tamer than they really are. And the shadows hide a lot! Definitely pays to go slow and pay extra attention!

Thanks again, everyone! I had a blast! Enjoy the photos, and let's see some more!

Thanks to everyone for coming out, and a BIG thanks to Nick for tailgunning. I had a great time also. We had a good mix of people and vehicles. A night run gives Broken Arrow a whole different perspective, and the full moon was amazing. Trith had the trail lit-up pretty well, so we really didn't need the moon! :) I liked the comment someone made on the CB that "he is his own Christmas tree!
