I keep my tow strap inside the factory spare. I use a plastic flower pot base to keep the strap from falling out. I drilled a hole in the base, and picked up a wing nut that matched the thread on the tire holder. That's it...
Oh yeah, I keep a spare serpentine belt under the spare...
