Nobody wants to ride in it. My daughter hates the wind and always tells me to put the doors and top on. My wife thinks it's too bumpy of a ride. Am I alone in this or is my family a bunch of wussies? I know they're girls, but c'mon....

wussies, time for family time...Hide the nail polish, lipstick, high heel shoes, pack the tent, cooler and get them out into the wild, make them learn to enjoy the TRUE outdoors instread of the superficial image brainwash next door mall.

My girl friend took us as a package... she hates the wind but I just give her the "I warned you" look.... Done! case closed. She actually came around and wants to go on Jeep runs with me every weekend! :) or maybe she hates it and loves me so much (since I'm such a PIMP, jk) she just deals to spend time with me... dunno?

I think my daughter secretly likes it, other than it messes up her hair. I told her to shave it, but I don't think she likes that idea.

I think you have two choices.

Get rid of the jeep...

Or get rid of the family!!!

I like my jeep soooooooooooooooooo....

j/k. They should come around someday.

Hair ties, hats, banadanas and sunglasses. I have very long hair and so does my girlfriend, we both have to make provisions for the wind, once we are ready it is fun but othewise it sucks...Tell them to man up though, she drives a CJ-5 and loves it. Also if you make it clear that hats and bandanas help nobody can complain when they forget theirs.

That ain't no thang.... my family, wife, two grown daughters are the same way. Finding a passenger isn't hard, get someone else. We have a lady friend, also married, that lives in Alaska. When she visits, I take her on Jeep trips, she loves'em. Heck, I've even taken guys.....

im kinda lucky.
girlfriends got pretty short hair so she dosent complain about that but she *****ed about the ride and the cold...

so i went to cabelas and bought myself a nice hunting jacket that she wears when they doors are off.

2 birds with one stone.
i get a nice jacket for hunting and i dont have to hear about how cold it is.

maybe a lift and coil overs will fix that bumpy ride problem...

You have a long arm lift and they are complaining about the ride? I would hate to have one of them ride in my Jeep with a SA lift and crap shocks, or even worse yet, a YJ or CJ. Maybe invest in some nicer shocks if you have cheaper ones. My girlfriend used to complain about the ride and having to climb up into it, but then I let her drive it on some trails and around town and now she loves it.

x100,000, wussies, bundle up.......

an old bumper sticker comes to mind, "get in, sit down, shut up. and hang on" or something like this??

let some air out of the tires for offroad that helps in more ways than one. :D

Arizona. Cold? You have no idea

When offroading Stephanie doesnt mind the wind too much. Its more the ride quality that gets to her chest. She says they hurt afterwards :)

I have a house full of girlie girls too. Take the back seat so there is room for lots of camping gear. Go for the weekend. Come home and rave about the bueaty, and the solatude of going alone. Not wanting to miss out on anything good, they will beg you to put the seat back in, and take them wheel'n.

She needs to strap those puppies down! I don't even think it matters what size you are, you have to strap 'em down. Even I have to wear a bra! :p

Personally I love the whole Jeeping experience, but I know a lot of women who don't. But I've always been kind of a tomboy, so . . .

I took my wife wheelin once. First and last time. She gets carsick and I had to leave the trail at 2 minute increments with 5 minute rests inbetween so she didn't throw up. Not a good day.
