Jeff,
Future Fest 99 is being held in Silverton CO. The dates are the 26th through the 1st of Aug. If by chance I gave you the wrong address this is it:
http://naxja.org/FF99/xjforum.htm
On this web page you will find many heading you can click on to get the rest of the information concerning lodging/travel/events/trails/members/signup/what you need/etc. It is for XJ's only, but I believe there are other organizations going that accept other 4x4's. Also after the week of the NAXJA event they are staying on for more off-roading which I believe anyone can participate in . Let me know if I can help you out in any way. Be glad to!!!!!

Dave,
I will be leaving Sunday Morning sometime, and leaving Sunday morning the 1st or the 31st Saturday. I will be more definite next week. But for now I went and reserved the 25th through the 31st. If I change my time, at least I have the site reserved. I will definitely let you know the exact times when my wife and I get the schedules figured out.

Pictures of the White Tanks came out pretty well....a few good ones of Shannon and her XJ. I've been extremely busy with work and haven't had much time to JEEP. I need to get the photos to someone who can scan them in. My schedule doesn't see much slack. Work 5 days this week (I usually work only 4-10s), then vacation in Colorado the following week (looking forward to the cool)...taking Marcia's XJ. Then back to work!

No campfires or charcoal fires. Gas is okay. It was pretty hot in the Payson
area (96--deg F last weekend). I suspect the rim isn't a lot cooler.
I went up with the AZ Dust Devils to Pyeatt (sp?) Draw last weekend. This is
an awesome spot! Great 4-wheeling and camping area.

Any Help!,
I had talked before on this issue and appreciate the help that was given to me. On the same line, I was wondering if anyone has ever done a body lift on a GMC/Chevy-S15,S10. Do you have to modify the transmission linkage, brake lines, etc., with a 2" body lift? My sons friend is trying to get a little more clearance for running 30x9.50's BFG/AT's. I have never owned or worked on one of these models, so any info. would be greatly appreciated!!!

Jeff,
Future Fest 99 is being held in Silverton CO.

Hey , is there anyone else from AZVJC going to the Rim on the 2nd or 3rd? If so maybe we can hookup into one group up there. Doug, we are at Norther and Sqauw Peak, we may go up I17, it is much quiker from there for us. We could meet up at H87 and Shea at one of the gas stations there.

Dave,
I will be leaving Sunday Morning sometime, and leaving Sunday morning the 1st or the 31st Saturday. I will be more definite next week. But for now I went and reserved the 25th through the 31st. If I change my time, at least I have the site reserved. I will definitely let you know the exact times when my wife and I get the schedules figured out.

The locations of choice are
59th and Camelback or

And for the date how about one of either Saturday or Sunday starting on the 10th. Not 4th of July weekend ofcourse.
Dan can you put up a poll for location and date?
ALSO, As I here both of these locations have big lots and huge inventory. AZ_VJC members will get 10% off any items in the performance section of the store. Bring out the tools......
Lets try to make a final vote by this Friday the 2nd.
