ran around the White Tanks a bit today ISO a couple of GeoCaches posted on GeoCaching.com and elsewhere in another thread. Not being reeeeal familiar with the Tanks coming from the Watson Road airdown spot, I ran a couple of impassable off-shoots of the main wash (at least impassable to MY rig, being open/open), and a couple that I did recognize, one being Tax Collector which I recognized once I exited the north end having approached it from a more western gulley. I wish someone had a map including names of the ones I couldn't make... I'd be interested in returning to them once I have lockers and perhaps a bit more clearance.
I did find two of the caches in about four hours of wheeling... bearing in mind that my main goal was to wheel, with GeoCaching being secondary.
Note to self to get a better GPS.... my antique has misled me a few times, each time having to power it down and back up again to regain actual coordinates.
Now the Mule Cache and Dead Man's chest are on my list of caches to seek.
Good stuff!

How do we learn about geocaching?? WE have heard of it but do not know much about it. We would be interested in learning more

since you're obviously computer savvy, might I suggest a visit to GeoCaching.com , or an alternative would be buying a book like I did at Borders... "The Complete Idiot's guide to GEOCACHING" by the editors and staff of Geocaching.com and Jack W. Peters
