DeSoto Mine

I'm leading a small group, up to the DeSoto Mine, Saturday morning. We'll be following the ridge over, from Peck. Since we'll be avoiding the rock garden, described in Well's book, this trail is probably rated as a solid '3'.

Anyone interested in joining us can meet at Cleator, at 9am. We usually get back on pavement about 3pm.

Would my stock TJ make it ok? it has 31"s. I would like to take my girlfriend wheeling before she leaves to go back east. I will check the forum later. Thanks!

Yes. A stock Jeep, with a bit of spotting, will make it through. (And we may have another 'stocker' with us.) You're more than welcome to join in. (Five Jeeps, so far..)
