How did you manage to roll out by the coves next to the 3-strand?(Barbed Wire fence) I like that roll cage, did you do that or get it from someone?

Thats the Poison spyder Full cage. it rocks and was stout!! Just needed to have taller front spreaders.

I can roll anywhere :D Trust me on that one!


This picture shows how deep that hole was when i dropped my pass tire into it. I was already off camber cause of the line i took, thought i could pull it off. really slow roll. used glens head as a step stool to get out of the jeep :D

haha John. I was gonna add those as part of the * cough errm build err rebuild/dead and buried part of the thread :P

Ive been real lazy about getting down there and working on it but i think i got my second wind. Ive got it on the lift and setting the front axle in place and cutting the links to length. Rear will be not too far behind. Ive gotta build the truss over the top as the original design doesnt give me enough vertical separation at the axle end. Then the endless "little stuff" to wrap up. Not setting a date cause ive pushed back every other one ive set. So itll be done when its done and tahts my story

Ive gotta toss in a big thanks to Jason and Josh at TruckWerks. Ive had about a billion questions and additions or revisions to my plan that keep changing crap and they have been more than patient with me. They both have a wealth of knowledge and can simplify designs to work properly without a bunch of BS added in. Theyve allowed me to do 90% of my own build so that i can learn myself. Im sure im just one of a few cases where they allow the people to do the work using their shop but they understood my wanting to know how my stuff went together and understand how it all works. Theyve been more helpful than I could have asked for. They bust *** every day in that shop and turn out some great work from lifts to repair work on engines. They do it all!

depends on how soon i can get my gears done. Gonna do em myself so that means pullin the front axle and takin the third down to adams house (resident do everything). Driveshafts could be odne in a day if my bud would actually bring the damn welder to work so i can borrow it!

a little too late for the passenger door. Driver door is decent. I dont like tube doors so ill keep em. amazingly they still open and close. sometimes they wont open or close on the trail if i just hit em so i just flop back on that side and theyll open after that

used it well and it served me well. Wanted more room int he back and that particular fast back wasnt workin for me. Wanted to do it differently up front too so no point in rebuilding a whole cage and keeping a part or two. I sold it .
