Fry's Electronics sells them as well. They have a number of models available, long antenna cables and numerous mounts. They also had a number of different GPS sets too.
You'll still have to hit up a 4x4 shop though if you're wanting a firestick antennae, Fry's doesn't carry those.

When installing a CB, do you have to get it tuned? If so, does CB exchange Tune them?

No you dont have to get it tuned, but it is highly recommended by any CB shop you goto. I went to Apollo and they said it'll work either way but the range and clarity of the radio would be much better (up to a mile or 2). Like anything else, CB radios can always be upgraded but it takes $, fortunately Apollo tunes the radios installed by them for about $10.
My next investment will be getting the radio amped and PA speaker :)

Technically using an amp on a CB is illegal. See the paragraph below from the FCC website. You are only allowed 4 Watts on AM, which is how most CBs operate. Spend the money on a better antenna setup if you are looking for a better signal.
LINEAR AMPLIFIER BAN
Users may not raise the power output of their CB units. That would be unfair to the other users sharing the channel by raising the level of radio noise. You must not attach a "linear," "linear amplifier" or any other type of power amplifier to your CB unit, Moreover, you must not modify your CB unit internally. Doing so cancels its certification and you forfeit your authorization to use it.

On a side note if you want to transmit at more power and have cleaner signals and therefore much better communications capability, become a HAM. :)

Oh no, my reception is just fine- I have the Wilson 5000 peaked and tuned to the Uniden unit I have and roof mounted (which will gain me much better reception than any wrangler set up) The problem is I can hear people in other cities but they cannot hear me.
I wasnt aware of it being illegal, good to know but tons of people have them amped anyway.

Apollo is worth the drive for sure. They will sell it and tune it in perfect for you if you install it and bring it back. For the most part they have many new and really nice used gear as well. I am a west side boy relocated to Gold Canyon and I would still drive there for there service and equipment.

Craigs list does not guarantee it will work, just a great sight to find things. Be careful when buying electronics from there. Its usually not worth that risk. to easy to sell a non working unit.
