Oct 13th - Table Mesa - Raw Deal - lower term...

I plan to go to table mesa area this saturday, oct 13th, to get used to my jeep with the new suspension. My sister Becca will be driving my jeep part of the time too so I think Raw Deal would be perfect.

meet at air down location at 8am... sound good?

I've been to raw deal once back in May but I can't remember exactly where that first left turn is off the main road. Also looking to run lower terminator. I know where LT is and can lead that one if someone can show me where raw deal is. maybe run other trails out there too if my sister doesn't mind wheeling that long.

requirements... not much... lockers front and rear if you plan on joining us on lower terminator

This is saturday only run... my Sundays are pretty full.

for the terminators I'd recomend front and rear lockers and definately front and rear tow hooks and a strap. It can be done without the lockers but would be more frustrating than I have patience for. lol... and I'm pretty easy going.

According to your profile, you've got 33's w/ lockers. I'd say that's good for Lower Term.

You may want some armor, or just take your time going through some of the obstacles.

yep, I'll be there at the air down at 8... probably leave the airdown at around 8:20 or 8:30 to try and find the raw deal turn off... still not sure exactly where it is but I'm sure I'll find it eventually.

Then if more people show, we can head to do lower terminator or whatever

what a great day. We ran upper raw deal for awhile... then lower terminator... then predator. It was my first time in my jeep with the new suspension and Jakes first time in his samuri buggy thing so we spent a little while on Raw Deal getting used to the rigs. My new suspension totally suprised me with what it can do... in other words, it rocks. Money well spent. I've been so used to wheeling with the stock arms for the last 3 yrs that I've just learned to accept its limitations. But this new suspension is like another world compared with what I was used to. THe highlight for me was running a part of lower terminator or was it predator, an offshoot of the trail that I hadn't noticed before. Brandon showed us where it was and the line to take. Its where you drive up a steep incline off the trail somewhere to the left and then a sharp 5 pt turn to head back down. Was pretty cool and after a number of attempts I made it. No pics of that unfortunately but was cool.

there were no broken parts so it was a good day. A cut MTR that Bob was able to plug in notime... some minor rear corner damage on my jeep and I tore up my stock rollbar padding. Can't wait for those PSC corners.
