Well, first of all, there are a few different ratios depending
on whether the axle was under an Explorer with a 6 cylinder auto, 5
speed, or a V8 auto. I am already geared at 4.10 in my front diff,
so if I had gotten an axle with 4.10s in it, I would be okay for
now. My axle came from a V8, with a 3.55:1 ratio, which makes me
think it was an auto. Not too many 5 speed Explorers came with the
V8, but that is hearsay... FWIW. SOME 8.8s came stock with 4.10s,
and SOME came stock with a limited slip Trac-Loc.
And I could be missing some info, too, but I think I have what I
need: an 8.8 from a 2001 Explorer that I got for $300 here in town,
and it hasn't even got signs of wear on the brake pads. This thing
is a little dirty/dusty, but almost brand new!!! :)

Does anyone know where I can get a pretty good hitch storage rack?

Hi Ray, Hi Amanda,
Thanks for the info and good luck! Very cool. You can surely imagine the
requests we are currently getting to air fund-raisers and charity drives.
It is all good, but we are pretty over-whelmed!! I hope you understand. I
at least wanted to return your note and wish you luck. I think it sounds
awesome. Thanks for thinking of us, and thanks for keeping me company in
the afternoons! You are much appreciated!

Maybe everyone that has been contacting radio and news companies could give their contact #'s so we can also contact them.
How many crazy e-mails and phones do you think they get a day,,, if we have more than one person call or e-mail it would appear a lot more ligit.

Maybe everyone that has been contacting radio and news companies could give their contact #'s so we can also contact them.
How many crazy e-mails and phones do you think they get a day,,, if we have more than one person call or e-mail it would appear a lot more ligit.
