I need some ideas of how I should do the comp cut on my TJ. So please post up some of your pic's of what you've done.

Why are you cutting your TJ up? Did you roll it or something? I am in Queen Creek too. If you need an extra hand, etc. let me know....

I don't have a rear bumper anymore and now I'm hitting the rear corners on the jeep. It's to the point where sometimes the tail gate is hard to open. Plus it's one more thing I don't have to do when I stretch it.

Charlie, hit up 4wheelers or Desert Fab to see if they have some comp corners in stock that you can hold up to your rig and trace the lines.
If you give me some advance notice, I can get a hold of my neighbor’s plasma cutter to make things easy!:D

Not mine, but have been looking at where to cut myself..........here's some examples I've been swiping off of Pirate.

I find myself spending more time on Pirate than AZVJC these days, must be time to cut. ;)

Kinda like the orange one above... I followed the lines of the Poison Spider Comp Cut Corners. And I used TJ Passenger Side lower door hinges to retain the swing out tailgate.

Hey Danno did you relocate the body mounts on the rear? I was thinking of cutting the sheet metal just outside of the frame where the body mounts are.

Well, yes and no..
I planned to relocate the rear body mounts since I removed the sheetmetal on the body where it attaches to the frame, I have the parts to re-install body supports directly below the tailgate (actually I plan to use those rubber bumpers that mounted to the tailgate for the factory spare tire carrier)
BUT... I haven't done it yet... I have been running without rear body supports for about a year now.

from the top of the wheel wells back. keep it striaght by measuring down from the top of the body. the back it different on every heep because of light/plate location

I have seen it relocated where muffler is but on the drivers side. I lucked out and mine is under the hood. The only reason I would comp cut is to streach wheelbase. If you do that you will have to relocate gas tank, and there should be plenty room where the tank was.

A little more work than just cutting but there is 1" x1/4 wall round tubing welded in to the fender for support and I like the angle alot more than the round fender line
