The red shirts added a very nice touch to the land use meeting. It
would also be nice to coordinate a designated colored shirt so when we
are unloading supplies we still look like well organized group.

As Joe suggested, the Taco Bell at Shea and 87, at 7:00am. I've notified one radio station (I know someone) about this to see if we can get some coverage in hopes that some people will meet there to donate or help. If you can't be there, here is the location of the shelter:
Rim Country Middle School
304 S Meadow St.
Payson 85541
It is west of 87 and south of 260. Take 87 north to Bonita St. Turn left (west) to Meadow St., then go right (north) to the school. I'm trying to notify them of our arrival.

You come into town and go to the intersection of 87 and 260. Turn left at the light. Go down to Meadow and turn left. the problem will be that that is a VERY busy intersection with a left turn light. It may take a long time to get through it. You may want to go to the Bashas parking lot N/E of that intersection and then gather up again and go straight across from the 260 side. There is lots of room in that parking lot. You may want to call Payson PD and let them know. 928-474-5177

Hey Stu, do we want to have a westside staging point like the Park N Ride at
79th ave and Mcdowell? BTW you take the 202 east until it ends. When you
get off the 202 turn left and this road turns into the Beeline. I think you
know where the turnoff for Fountain Hills is.

that should give us plenty of time to get to Fountain Hills. Try to

Didn't I hear that Sharky nick-named his rig Roly-Poly? I think he bought a

Here's the scoop. I just got off the phone with the shelter and they
are excited. I told them what we are bringing and they love it!
They will call me and let me know if there is something else or
something that is more needed than another. They did mention diapers
and blankets that wasn't on our list. Also, I talked to Payson P.D.
and they will let all officers on duty Sat. know what is happening
and to look for us between 9:00 and 10:00am. LETS GET THIS A HUGE
GROUP! ! ! The people at the shelter can't wait to see us roll in
and the kids faces too! ONE MORE THING - The shelter is actually at
the high school on 260 west of 87. In the big green building. SEE
YOU ALL THERE! ! !

The red shirts added a very nice touch to the land use meeting. It
would also be nice to coordinate a designated colored shirt so when we
are unloading supplies we still look like well organized group.

OK. Lets meet at the Target at 101 and I-17 (30th Ave.)at 6:00am.
that should give us plenty of time to get to Fountain Hills. Try to
be prompt, because I want to get to F.H. as soon as possible. Those
that plan on meeting there, email me. Thanks.

Speaking of Sharky...
Didn't I hear that Sharky nick-named his rig Roly-Poly? I think he bought a
sticker in yellow for his windshield from the same place that Scott Kruize
did...

Subject: UPDATE ON PAYSON RUN
