My camping trip Oct5th-8th

I went camping with Digger (Nancy) fri and sat night and i camped solo sunday night. We went from the bumble bee exit up to crown king and camped at Coal Camp, and ended up in Prescott where we stayed the second night at wolf creek. I met a really nice ranger up in one of the observation points in the mountains. he let me climb up and have a look, awesome view!! It was a great trip, I look like a caveman now from not shaving in 3 days... lol

Looks like fun! I am going to get Digger to take me on one of her ghost town/exploring trips... She knows everything about old sites around AZ.

thats a pretty sweet fire u got going there, makes me wanna go camping just to build one :) Camping alone sunday, how was that? ;p

Yes, did you stay at Wolf Creek the 3rd night? Were there fees? Do you need a FS pass to ride through these areas?

I dont think you need a pass... but the camping there is $2 a night which aint bad, they are developed sites with nice fire rings.. I decided to stay down by the creek.. Sunday was cool. I am a solo kinda guy. I like the thrill of being far away and having to survive or something... its fun to me.

haha, then maybe we should drop you off in the middle of the desert, then you will have the ultimate thrill to survive! ;p

Joe would survive the desert, he most likey would enjoy the challenge.
