Does anyone know a "good" shop in Phoenix specializing in the 4.0 motor?? I need it removed and sent back to the builder.

I just discovered my crank thrust bearing is shot when I dropped my oil pan to change out the rear-main seal, which was leaking....this is a brand new motor.

The motor is a 4.6 stroker from a New Hampshire motor builder (I had refrences, but went against my better judgment buying across country). They say the tranny might of caused the damage, "the torgue converter might of pushed into it."

All I know is I have a brand new motor that is trashed.

Thanks in advance!

for a good stroker... you will be looking around 3000+ depending on everything done to it...
Pirate 4X4 have a lot of info regarding the strokers for 4.0 FI and 4.2 Carbed strokers.
