I may be interested in one of these. My current TV is having problems.

There is a lot of information there that I don't understand.

For someone who hasn't purchased a TV in 15 years can someone explain to me the difference between these TV's and why this may be a bargain?

What is usual retail price?

What other equipment will I need?

In what way are they better than my 15 year old tube TV?

How well do they travel?

I move every 6 months or so and would not be worth it if there is some sort of special set up each time you move them.

Thanks,

Tom of the old school TV.

These tvs are capable of much higher resolution than your older set. They have a wide assortment of inputs for di def equipment. to watch hi def programming you would need a cable or sattelite box but they can be used for watching over the air free tv as well.
I paid $1700 and $2300 for these televisions when they were new.
