Is this something my rig could handle - no lockers but good driver :)

Any rocker protection or is that not an issue? Without lockers you'll probably have to be strapped in a couple spots.

By the way I'm in. Now all I have to do is replace a motor mount and install the new tierod.

Well, it was a pretty good trip today. Only Big Jim and I showed up so we headed for the trails at about 8:45. We ran the double waterfall trail (by Intimidator), Intimidator and Lower Scorpion. Finally tried the can opener and got denied.

Well there's not much of a trip report to report when no one shows up. What I can tell you is an XJ on Can Opener gets hit in 2 places where a TJ only gets it in 1.:D Jimmy gave it a good shot but it wasn't to be. He did remove a large section of exhaust, and I managed to bend my sway bar mounting pin straight up. Other than that it was just trying not to get shot by all the target shooters, they were shooting across the roads, across the washes, and mountain range to mountain range. I don't think that they had a complete brain amongst them. One of the groups even had a fire going, it was that cold at 11:00 am. Well thats about it, thanks for coming out Jimmy.

I wish I would have seen this run,and Jimmy's xj on can opener.I would think the passenger rear window would be right on the rock.

I get Jimmy to post up pics of the bit of Can Opener, didn't take any while it was happening. But I'll download a pic of my bad line which netted about 2' of air over a dropoff. This what bent my sway bar pin....:eek:http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q63/bigjim-jeeper/cid_Photo015.jpg

Jim it would have been, but you haven't seen the XJ lately, no glass, no doors, no rear hatch, and the fuel tank inside. I'll have him bring it by and let you see it. Next is boat sides and tube work.

Wow,I just wheeled with him about a month ago and it had all that stuff,he's been busy.I told him as soon as he gets tube i'll help him out with it.should be cool when its done.

Yeah, I finally took off all that extra stuff. Moving the gas tank was the best thing I've done to it so far. I used to drag the rear end on everything, but haven't touched it once since moving it. I should have the rest of the money for the tube by next week. I'll probably do the boat sides at the house and then bring it over yours for the front clip. I think with the boat sides I would have made the can opener.
