What the heck is that green thing? A Cherowrangler? Cherokee with a fold down windshield?

Nice to see a JK out there with the group.

If only you knew how many times my son & I have been approached by people asking what we are in.....I have never heard it called a cherowrangler before.....thats a good one!
It used to be a 92 Cherokee until he and I rolled out at White Tanks on Scorpion.

As for the JK....well, my buddy doesn't have a problem with taking it out but his wife sure does! The first or second time out with it I got a call the next day and was told how it took ALL DAY to clean it up....BUT, SHE was the one that wanted the lift and tires:confused: My wife and her grew up together so they're really close so she got by with giving her the lecture containing all the usual lines: "Why buy a Jeep if you're not going to wheel it"," what do you want, a mall crawler?", etc.....I think it worked because she likes to wheel a lot more it seems but she in no way wants any body damage.

Did a little more wheeling in the White Tanks this past weekend. Just now getting around to posting some pics up........Thought that I would keep using this thread.......Before anybody says anything; we didn't stack those rocks in front of the wife's XJ....they were there when we got there. However, do to my wife's fantastic driving, they're not there now!!!!

And yes....that is a Toyota that you see going up Turtle falls. That is my neighbor's son. He's just getting started in this sport. He is DYING to pull out a Jeep. Especially his Dad or me!!!!!

The Toy looks like it's draggin' it's tail. Last time we did that fall, there was a big rock right were he was. Messed up the line bad.

The beauty is on the inside :laugh2:

I think that is one of the coolest, and unique rigs I have seen. I hope to see it out on the trail. You should go to Sedona for our XJ only run on 1-19.

W-E-L-L.....let's see......I think that you are ready to drop that sway bar and get some articulation out of that front end....I'm thinking Firebird out at White Tanks!!!
By the way, are you ready and interested in some nice "new" 31x10.50x15 BFG Mud Terrains???? Only have about 500 miles on them :2thumbsup:
The spare is BRAND NEW.....AND they have certs on them from Discount tire.

Roof and doors are over rated........except for when it's really, really cold.....or when it's raining......or when there is deep water or any mud around.......

Wheeled out in the Tanks again today....met up with Geno and Roger (actually Roger's son was driving...1 Eagle).. Ran Firebird, Tax Collector, Scorpion, Turtle falls and??? Geno, the double water fall you told me about, we ran that before. I just don't remember what the heck it is called  I actually spun a tire or two and so did everyone but my wife on that!!!....Had a good time.....Not too much carnage to report. Allen (don't remember his screen name, suffered the most damage when he took off to run Ruler on his own. D*** driveshafts!!!) Tim, again the screen name evades me, had a really nice Xj and at the end of the day.....it still was looking nice (all except for his one finger).
In any case, I believe all had a good time. Tried to coerce Arizona_sunshine into going......no dice there. She had to stay home and do her nails??????? Perhaps you guys could convince her to go out with us all more often.

We had two Rubi's with us. Customers of my brother-in-law.....what a way to build business relationships right??? Hey, why don't you come out with us and see if you can break your new Rubicon?????
They were nice enough guys. From the ribbing they were giving each other, I think that it is a matter of time before they "modify" their rigs via the trails.

In any case, it was a beautiful day & I hope that I can make the new year's day run......may be a little "under the weather" or perhaps taking care of household chores since the next 2 weeks I will be out of commisison. Dang Army crap...:fashizzle:

holy cow, today was a blast... and firebird gave us a good challenge, but my open/open w/31's made it through quite well I thought, and all the protection goodies I've installed did their job. oh yeah, I could have done without smashing the crap out of my fingertip while stacking rocks for another vehicle at the very end (hey, lookie there... I CAN type with only nine digits). I'll post up the pics I took in a bit when I'm not quite so distracted by the pain, and no, I'm not referring to my girlfriend. :smug:

hope everyone had fun... I did. good seein' yall. T.G.
