I think I will post this in off topic?? anyways.. Not planning on taking the Jeep. My friends have quads. Just wondering if any of you guys are going to be up there that weekend? Hey AZdezertgirl
All I can say is you will have the ride of your life. I have been going for the past five years or so with my quad and love it. We are going the 26th. I have had my jeep out there before and it is alot of fun. I can't ride the bowls with my jeep but it is great for getting out to the hill runs and the sand drags. You will have a great time, if you have never been before your in for a treat. Also bring earplugs if you want to sleep at night because the motors never stop.
Have a great time and be safe

I'd say on the big weekends there's close to 500-750k people out there. This past weekend wasn't to bad, enough people to watch but still enough room to open up the drag Jeep, which, BTW was fast. We were better than half tracking the built up quads up the hill!:eek:

bring enough of everything you need, (like ice) cause there isn't much there beside sand.
It's a riot, I have a blast everytime I go. the drags are like watching a live cartoon !! you'll love it!! I always camp at gordons well along the canal way down at the end. less noise and you only have to worry about gettin run over from 1 side. well ya can still get hit from all 4 unless ya pick a spot with large brush, oh and there is no privacy, :D:D
