My wife took these up in Colorado last year. I kinda have a thing for trains and she has a thing for taking sweet pictures.

Great pics. I grew up visiting those exact trains every summer. K-36 #486. Still have a lump of coal from the tender of K-37 #497 from the round house that used to be NOT fenced off. Have you been to Chama, NM? Similar tour there too only no K-28's, K-36 and K-37's only. Goes over Cumbres Pass into Antonito, CO and winds through the mountains as opposed to a river gorge. I've got tons of pictures but they're all on Ektachrome.

NOTHING beats the sound and smell of those locomotives.

Man, there so much history up there! I luv the pics Hunter. After the Rubicon next year, I think its time for Shauna and I to head up to Colorado. :)
