needs a few things before it gets fired up, like wiring to the key, starter switch and coil. Since the master cylinder is frozen up, and three different size rims and tires, it's a good thing it doesn't move under it's own power.

Thanks. I gave up a really nice King Ranch truck for the CJ because I always wanted one. Despite the growing pains of owning/daily driving a 22 year old Jeep. I love that thing. Of course, I also love working at a Lexus dealer and having everyone think I'm f in nuts:D

My very first Jeep. A 1976 CJ7 that I purchased In Greenfield, Indiana for $1200.00 in 1990.

The rust was so bad that I had to weld sheetmetal and 1" square bars under the seats brackets to keep from falling through. (I couldn't afford a tub replacement). The top had cracks in it all over and certainly didn't seal right to which I remedied with expanding foam to get me through the winter.

It was T-Boned by a little Ford Fiesta and I ended up having the frame straightened and rewelded by a transsexual body man who was in the middle of his "transition" (had the breasts done and hormone supplements).

The end all be all of it was yet another crash in which I slid on the ice while playing in the snow on a back road and hit a telephone pole with enough force to rip the engine and it's mounts right off the frame.

Wow, while digging up this picture, a lot of old memories came back. What a stupid 17 year old I was to even buy that death trap.

My '74. He needs some help but is sooo close to offroading. Any suggestions on wheels. I hate chrome. I am thinking AR 767 with 0 backspacing. Anyway there it is.
