Hello all,

My name is Robert but everyone calls me Bear, I am new to the site and new to rockcrawling. I have spotted several time for my buddy at the jeep jamboree's when they were in Florence years ago. I am a new driver this year with two jeeps and looking forward to the pucker factor.

First jeep is a 1965 Kaiser (CJ) with a 3.8 liter, no idea what manual four speed tranny, dana 18 transfer case, 35" BFG Mud, dana 30 front, dana 20 rear, both are locked.

Second jeep is a 1974 CJ with a AMC 360, t-18 trans, 300 transfer case, Dana 30 front, dana 44 rear, 35" super swampers. Both axles are locked.

Some of you my know the second jeep it used to be Mr. Ed's from "Mr. Ed's Excellent Adventures".:D I traded "Keith" Mr. Ed's son my Harley for it since the bike just sat.

Anyways I am going out to table mesa for my virgin run the first weekend in November however I don't know how to get to the trails? EG: Raw Deal, Termanator, ETC: These i heard about. Is there any maps on how to get to the trails?

ALso Keith was going to try to find me some of Mr. Ed's video's but has had no luck. Does anyone have these I could copy or know where I can get them. Keith suggested I watch them to see what the jeep will do.

I am also planning to attend the clean up at table mesa on October 20. Hope to see you out there.

I look forward to any and all information especially in the table mesa area since I live in North Phoenix. It is close, funds are short due to child support.

Thank You in advance.

Well, it is important to support your children and you should never complain about having to be a respectable father. Deadbeat dads or people that complain about having to support their children disgust me.
But I bet you are just seeing your budget is tight for wheeling and being sad about that - not the fact you must be a good dad. :)

Welcome and hope to see you on the trails. Make sure you don't wheel alone, and especially don't make water crossings alone...if you do, make sure you tow it back home and replace all fluids and remove the plugs before you turn it over. :D

Whatever, Amber.
This was neither the time or place to throw that out there. I have more to say on the subject, please see your PM inbox...

Welcome to the club, Robert. There will probably be some runs posted for TM soon, or you can just go out to the "Parking Lot" and try to hook up with some people that are going out.

Good luck!

As a matter of fact Amber I am a good father and have been paying for my kids for the last sixteen years without missing a payment. I just ment that wheeling between gas and parts, morgage, ETC: It gets expensive as you know. -I hope to see you on the trails as well :)

nice looking jeeps! Make sure you go out with some experienced people, looking at those rigs they look like they can make it over most anything you throw at them! Start out slow, learn the tipping/breaking points for your jeep and have fun

Well I can tell you first hand that Jeep has seen many trails all over this state. We also have some of those videos floating around here too. Classic videos I tell you. Welcome to the board and just remember that I stock more CJ parts than Jeep dealerships did when they were new.:D:D

Welcome to the club, and Nice looking rigs..

what year is that chevy? 64-66?

I have a 65 2wd truck... ove it... but trying sell it..

I would start off with a moderate trail to learn the jeeps behavior, and learn what your willing/capable of... then hit the harder trails.

Check out 4 wheelers for any Cj parts like he said earlier, they carrier everything, and not to mention DISCOUNTS.
