Anybody make it to the meeting last night? I saw a couple jeeps in the parking lot, one looked like an old (CJ?).

AOPA? They still have meetings?
They still send me membership information renewal and I haven't been a member since 1992.
Some of there annual events are kind of fun.

They are called safety seminars. I decided to go with my CFI class. It was actually pretty informational about things the FAA are trying to do with FAR's and implimenting new regulations.
I dont know when the next one is but if your interested in going I'd say its worth it.

No, alot of 61 stuff and some 91. Spent some time talking about binding vs. non-binding documents and what you need to know in GA.

It has been long time since I flew any part 91 stuff.
In fact if we ferry or reepo an aircraft we do it all as if it were 121 except crew rest. But then our contract kicks in and prevents abuse by the company. Part 91 flights are cool because we can let the in-flights come up and watch the landing.
