I am not sure which setting I have screwed up, but I have to logon everytime I come in. I don't have this situation in any other forum I visit, so I am thinking there is a setting I have incorrect here.

Suggestions?

It must be something wierd with the cookie situation.

There is an option in the "user cp" then "edit option" link.

Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies):
Yes or NO

but it doesn't seem to work when yes is clicked.

Hi James,

I think your problem is caused by the fact that you actually created two users and now have two conflicting cookies on your system.

Go to where your cookies are stored and delete the ones from virtualjeepclub.com

Then login again and hopefully things will be fine. Things are working great for me.

Joe I'm having no such luck.

It may be a security setting on my end.

I've only registered once and when I close the site I have to logon when I come back.

Hi Mookie,

The reason you must log back in is because cookies are disabled
for the time being... something isn't working with cookies so I had
to turn them off. The general effect of this is that you must log back in when you close down the site.

You should NOT however, need to log back in UNLESS you close down the site by exiting out of IE or Netscape.

I am still having to login everytime after about 10 minutes of no activity on the site even though I have not closed out IE.
