Hey guys!
I have a 97 wrangler with a tan soft top. Its only got 30's for now, but I am ordering a 3 inch lift in the next week and with 32 inch tires. I don't do "hardcore" offroad like some of you (I've seen pics haha) but I do like to do weekend rides. This is my DD, well if ya have any questions just let me know! Oh and I would go with a 4 inch lift on 33's but I'm only 18 and cant afford it! haha

ROTFLMAO!!! :D Welcome to the club. There are plenty of us who haven't assimilated all the way yet and do normal people runs...;) You will have plenty of people to run with! That is until we assimilate all the way too...

And don't get me wrong, having a capable jeep is priority but it is nice to see jeeps that are not all cut up, tubed like a rat in a cage, etc. once in a while... But we will all end up there if get the money. :D

Well a cheap way to get performance would be to start taking things off.

The Nerf bars on the side, the boxing gloves on the bumpers. If you don't use it and have a 1" receiver hitch as many of them do, take it off for more clearance in the back.

As far as hard core rock crawling, anything you are having trouble getting over in YOUR rig is hard core for you. :D

Admit it, you are doomed to wheel like the rest of us. http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k57/jetdriver_phx/Welcome.gif

Welcome to the club. Give it a few years and see what your Jeep looks like then. Once the mods start they dont stop.:D

you dont need a lift just yet... learn to drive your vehicle the way it is, then when you gat the good stuff, it is easier, and you can do harder stuff. i would start with taking things off, trimming, and those 32's will be fine with no lift... right???

best investments you can make in your jeep right now are

CAGE!!!
Armor

in that order.

Absolutely. You can easily fit 32's w/ a simply 1" body lift even.

It is tempting to lift asap but resist the urge!

Welcome to the club.

Funny, I'd rather be in Mexico too.

I think the first thing you should do is sign up for a run. [.02]

See ya out there!!

Maybe we should do another bunny run out at BJ so he can meet some folk to start wheeling with... this week is shot for me but next weekend the new xfer will be in and a slow run out and around bj for break in probably isn't a bad idea...

There are smooth lines out at Butcher Jones and some more challenging ones for your setup... its a good starter trail with a happy ending (the lake)

let us know and we'll organize it... We'll call it the, "It ain't Mehico but It will do" run...
