1. looked like trail cutting
2. If he is that non-chalaunt (sp) about dripping oil everywhere, it would be good to actually carry peatsorb - you think he actually cleaned up or just left it there?
3. All those add-ons and not locked?
4. I think it is overkill, but kinda cool.

Well, it's their right to pursue "monster truck meets rock crawling." Like many other things, it merely takes a hobby to a new financial level.
Unfortunately, our first exposure to this was these guys tearing up trails. Therefore, my initial response is not real positive. Like others, I'm sure my assumption is that they are on public property and the video is greenie ammo. Had that video shown responsible wheeling on that uber extreme scale or explicitely stated if they were on private land I would probably have a better opinion.

I guess I have to give them props for taking those multi-$$$ toys out into the real world.
But, that's about it.
The kid at the end was classic. "Be careful."

Agree 100%. I'm not impressed. Its looks like a "bigger hammer" approach and nothing more than tearing up landscape. I saw more flying rocks and dislodged boulders than I did skill. Guys like that need to stick to junked cars inside stadiums.

X2!
There is no crew running behind these guys picking up the broken parts and dripping oil when they take them monster trucks off-roading! Somebody should beat that guy silly for his callous view about spilled oil!
The truck is a waste! Not locked, not geared. My jeep could have done them rocks and not moved a one of them! The driver is an even bigger waste! Not caring!! That aint no track your on buddy! If that guy had just said "We got a leak here! Sombody get some peatsorb!" instead of "They do that sometimes." Even the kid knew better!!
A great video ammo for the greenies!

I would like to know where the location is though, looks like a pretty cool wheeling spot, if not totally destroyed by these idiots. Complete and utter lack of responsibilty and caring for the landscape and environment. No wonder we are losing the fight for public use land.

And the guy at the end, that said "It is the coolest thing I have ever seen! I want one!", is wearing a UROC jacket!

It makes me sad when I think of all we have put into this sport, and how much has been lost.
What is our argument to greenies and land managers. Please leave our trails open so we can use them. Oh and yes people like these guys will be using them too. :(
It would be nice if we could say one rotten apple spoils it. I hate to say it, a good portion of the barrel is rotten.

So much for tread lightly! Guys like that are the reason we are loosing our rights to offroad! Makes me mad.

I'm probably going to get flamed for saying this but that actually looks like fun. Not saying its the best use of that land but we are just speculating and assuming that this isnt private use land or even designated for this sort of thing. And how do we know that their not cleaning up?
Maybe someone should find out a little more before we start throwing insults.

x3! Even if it was private land the greens will use it anyway. They supply names in the video, it would not be hard to find out who they are/where/etc... Monster trucks are a thing of the past, they are trying to keep it going. These aren't even front line Monster Trucks! Ppppssshhhhh!

That footage has been around for quite a while. According to the Dvd it was released in 2002 on the Hammer Down Video. It takes place at Desert Mountian, Utah.

Ok, it looked like Utah to me but I didnt want to assume. So we can pretty much guess that it wasn't private land and they are just tearing sh!t up.
X2 on the hummer
