Went out to play in FJ and really blew it at the entrance to Woodpecker Mine Loop!!! Wasn't watchin when playing around on the tiny waterfall out front and hit a broken jagged rock jut out with the passenger side rear.....Looks like I am getting the other to Extreme Mud Terrains quicker than I planned!

Yea, I have had Great luck with them till this month and now i have taken out two sidewalls.
I think part of it is that I have a lot more weight in the back with the fuel and water cans, plus tools and I was still running 10 PSI, I moved to 13 in the rear (still 10 in front) and they seem to hold the weight better, still have to put my 5.5" RE springs in the rear too

Yea, it was the older 2 Ply but I have the warr. at 4WP and I am hoping it is within the 50%.
The new ones are the 3ply extremes. Like I said, I have run them a long time and didn't have any problems, now I have wasted two in a month

I did the same thing on Black Bear Road last month in CO. I was running 18psi just to cushion the ride a bit. I dropped down a tiny little ledge (maybe 8 inches?) but that was enough for a sharp rock to punch through the sidewall, right below the bead.
I've been running xTerrains for 6 years, and this is the first time I've ever cut a sidewall. I guess I'm not trying hard enough. :D

Bought 2 more Extreme MT's and they prorated the tire about 50% which is about right, it had 15K on it. Jeep is a lot quieter on the road now, didn't realize how load them XT's howl!!!!
