I was thinking about throwing some one piece axle shafts in my narrow trac AMC20. How much is your guys' set from Superior? I think I saw them last time I was in there...something like $240? Do they come with the bearings already pressed on, ready to be installed in the axle?

You will need to have your factory backing plates off before the bearings can be pressed on. Its not like a D44 axle, the backing plates and brakes go on with the axle.

you have to take the hub off the shaft

Man, why are CJ's so much more work than TJ's. Most cars, the older ones are easier to work on. Not my Jeeps.
