Does anybody run one of DPG's suspension systems? I like the quality of the components and the ability to customize to your application. They will match spring rates/heights to the equipment/armor I have. This way I can fit 35's with a minimal lift and hopefully a good ride.

They are pricier when compared to the RE 4.5" SF short arm, which was also on my list.

Other questions that have come to mind in the comparison:
Do I really need fully adjustable uppers and lowers, or just uppers?
Is the adjustable Rear TB a big plus compared to just a bracket?

After all the armor/bumpers/winch - I think the RE will lose about an inch.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I don't run the DPG, but do have the RE. Adj UCAs and LCAs are a big plus, they allow you to adjust pinion angles, and also gain a little of the WB you will lose with the lift. The adj track bar is also great, because you can fine tune the axle placement on your rig. Look for a front adj track bar too. With the winch on the front of mine, I lost about 1/2", RE springs are notoriously taller than their claimed height though.

I have no idea about DPG's lift, but those guys are great guys. I have delt with them before and they are trully one of the best suppliers I have ever delt with. JMO

QFT - My RE 3.5" springs got me just over 4" when installed, like 4.25"

Yah, I know about RE netting more than stated. But at the same time, I know they sag when you load up with armor/bumper/winch/etc. If I go with the DPG, they claim they can match the springs to my equipment and take the guessing game out of it. I need to get just enough lift to clear 35's but still fit in my slightly short garage. So DPG seems like a good way to go. Plus the ride quality with OME seems to be the best around.

Thanks for the responses, keep them coming.

That is what i run on mine. I did not get the JKS arms though. I bought RE uppers and Nth low buck lowers. I ended up not liking the re upper because of the constant squeek and how fast the bushing wear out. The Nth lowers are indestructable and take oem bushings. Of all the things i broke on my jeep(and i broke alot) the only thing i ever broke on his lift setup was i blew out the rear shocks. That was my fault completely. I would not hesitate to buy his lift again. But i'd get jks uppers. Dirk is a great guy and lived up to everything he ever said he'd do. I bought his TJ ultimate system with the anti rock and got my own arms. HTH

Thansk LOST TJ, that is what I was looking for. Did you run 35" tires with that setup? If so, any rubbing at full flex? Also did you need to put longer front brakelines on or extend the rear swaybar mounts?

Thanks

I run the DPG "Ultimate" kit...it has all the JKS arms and trackbars. Its about as stout as I could ask for and the initial lift I got was great...I've added a TON of weight to the jeep since then though. I need to get ACOS to bring it back up a bit.

Thanks for the response DUFFER. That is what I am trying to avoing. I'm in the process of chosing and purchasing all my armor/bumpers/winch and I want to be able to just buy the correct springs to begin with. It may not work out that way. Looks like you went with the OME ZJ springs to try and compensate for the weight, did you get the heavy duty's? I may have to run DPG's Trailgunner springs to compensate for the weight.
