Poll for keeping number of posts under a member's name is closed.

The poll resulted in a dead heat of half saying yes, keep the number of posts showing under a user's name and the other half saying no... delete the number of posts.

Since there is not a simple switch to disable this number, and since we have a dead heat... I'll leave the number alone. If it looks like people are posting just to increase the number of posts, then I'll do some research to see how to hack the php files to remove it.

The thing that we have going for us is that there really are no "member titles" to go for... after 100 or so posts, you become senior member and that's where it ends... so I hope that we don't run into this being an issue.

Joe, I honestly don't see people posting just to post. Yeah, we may joke about it, but I doubt removing it will change the number of posts per day for any individual forum user.
