have just been researching alot, pretty new to the jeep thing, just got it last week! But ive decided to get a 4.5" rubicon express super flex setup. Which means i need a slip yoke eliminator and new cv driveshaft. Which is the part im getting pretty confused on. Im not sure what cv driveshaft to get, there is a bunch of different sizes, and i cant find a specific number anywere. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
if it helps... dana 44 in rear, trac-lok differential, 3.73 axle ratio, and gonna run 33 12.50 BFG mud terrains.
thanks alot!

I put in a Teraflex SYE and a Tom Woods shaft. Tom Woods is one of the best. In fact he sells SYE/Shaft combos. If you go to his site it gives you instructions on how to measure and then you call him with the measurement and the type of shaft you want. I am VERY PLEASED with mine and when I get enough money I will be replacing the front shaft.
***NOTE - Make sure you measure the distance between your t-case and diff AFTER you have the lift on....

Best advice I can give you is to call us 480-288-4213 or one of the other local vendors that support the board to get straigh advice and quotes without any confusion.

Tom Woods had an issue a little while back with Yokes breaking. I talked to him in Moab this year and he said he has since gone with another supplier. I know of several that broke during this time period, haven't heard much bad lately.
After breaking my Tom Woods, I went to Jess at High Angle Driveline http://www.highangledriveline.com/ and got a 1350 CV shaft. When I bought the Tom Woods, he wasn't making 1350's, only 1310's. The beef between the two different size Ujoints is notable.
The broken TW's 1310 on top, new 1350 Had on bottom.

My point? get a 1350 if you can live with the angles. ;)
You all might want to notice he asked what size, not what brand.

Sorry to hijack - but does everyone have that grease spray on the underside? I noticed mine does it quite well.

I did grease it, must have been the crappy stuff they stick it in from the shop that got squeezed out.
