This buggy worked great! From usually pulling in at 12-15th place to snagging 4th in the Pro Modified class, I'd have to conclude that this buggy was built well! Hardly any seat time, as the buggy was compleated within days of the comp, a huge Congrats from me Todd!! Well done! :D

Bias or not.............. Todd did GREAT and the buggy worked like it was intended !!! Was great to see everything finally come together for Todd and his spotter. Was a great event even with humidity to the level of almost drowning but the course was awesome.

Congrats to Todd and crew. He busted his A_ _ getting the buggy ready. He is a good example to everyone, that if you want something bad enough, you will find a way to get it done. Again congrats to Desert Fab.

Good job guys! Did you have any suprises with the buggy? If you did it must have been small because pulling a 4th on the first comp in a new rig is awsome.

Awesome Job Todd, that was too cool!!! The late nights and hard work paid off in an incredible buggy and the good work driving and your spotter made for a great finish!!!!!!

THANKS for the video of this!!!!! This was his last obstacle on day 1. He was in first place going into this obstacle and had the best time when he reached the top of this spot but he got the front end dug in and couldn't go forward or backward for "almost" too long. This score dropped him to 4th which is where he stayed.
The obstacles were awesome but so was the MUD! Like glue!
Just so Everyone knows.. I had nothing to do with this Build or Todd's Great Finish.. Just moral support..!!
Congratulations Todd !!

I have some minor issues to deal with but nothing major. I am very happy with the way the new rig works. Now I just need to learn how drive:p

Here is a picture of one climb, this was about 80 deg. with mud at the bottom. The only way to make this climb was a full commitment, second gear and a good amount of throttle. yeee haaa

Yee Haw!
You need to wire up a horn that plays "DIXIE" ala Dukes of Hazzard with a button on the shifter!

While Dave did get a few tools thrown at him, there were several of us wrenching and bleeding for this build:
Todd McCullen
Glenn McConnell (Me)
Jack McCullen
Troy Dagen
Terry Dagen
Personally, I thank each and every one of them for putting their butts to the concrete and eyes to the welding arc to get this done so fast. And what an awesome rig it turned out to be... even with more glitter than a $5 Hoo(radio edit)er.
I'll never again tell Todd what place he's in as I told him just before that last obstacle of Day 1 and that's where he dropped to 4th. But, look at it this way:
Throughout both days, only 2 obstacles, including the shootout, were at or worse than they'd had ALL YEAR! They had 6 points headed into the last course of Day 1!!!
Hell of a job by Ron and Todd on the courses, oh, and the Buggy did a decent job, too.
