Only problem Dennis is most of the TJ that use a RK track bar like mine (RK 5.5 extreme LA)
end up with the TB too long to get the axle under the jeep centered. This is my only complaint
about the RK lift. My axle is 1+" too far to the passenger side
because the TB is too LONG. Even with the heim screwed all the
way in to the TB, it's still too long. I would have to cut at least
an inch off to just get the axle centered. I was told
this is a standard length for all RK TB's.
When I get around to installing my HP 44, I will change this. In
the mean time I guess I will have to suffer.:D

yeah i did notice the extra length as well. NEver caused an issue but yes it is true.

I have one (RK trackbar) on my Unlimited, that has a 3.5" RE lift. It is threaded all the way in and every thing lines up good. Some threadlocker on the heim joint end and I have very little problems. Definitly more highway miles than offroad miles.

The only issue it cause me other than the front axle being too
far to the passenger side, is it caused my driver's side spring
to hang on the TB bracket causing me to flop on a steep ledge.
I have since removed the corner of the bracket so it wont hang anymore.

caused it to hang how? Ive never had that issue. or at least i cant picture what the problem is so im unsure how you mean. do you meant as it flexed it pushed the spring into the bracket and somehow kept it from compressing or unloading?
I dont think any of these problems are big enough to deter anyone from buying mine. Its still an improvement over the stock.

NO NO Dennis, I think the RK TB is the cats meow! Just mine is too long for some reason. The spring would hang on the
corner of the TB bracket and keep the spring from compressing
while the other side compressed coming off a steep ledge
causing the jeep to roll to the passenger side, if you
remember the pictures of my flop.:)
All of the RK stuff is HD compared to RE. That's why I chose
the RK 5.5 X Factor LA. The arms are solid steel, not tubing,
and full length with triangulation in the rear. RE sells their
similar lift for well over 3500 dollars.
