Moved here 2 years ago and just picked up an 89YJ. It has quite a few accessories such as:
waterproof seates
sound system
alarm w/ motion sensor
locking center console and trunk
upgraded rollbar to the 95 style
steel body arm
intake
borla headers and magnaflow exhaust
hood lock
and recently changed engine parts.
it also has a small shackle and body lift to tuck the 33's that its running. That will be changed soon to a more practical lift.
Its the 2.5 4banger and a 5 speed manual.
It does have a few problems that i'll start another thread for but just wanted to say hi and once i get all this stuff ironed out i'll hopefully get a chance to meet some of you out on the trails!

Welcome to AZ, ansd welcome the the "Club"
Sounds like a nice ride. I suggest sitting on a towel on the water proof seats. I have neoprene seat covers and if I don't sit on a towel my but and back get extremely sweaty. TMI I know but you don't want your new rig to smell like a sweaty gym like mine does :D

nope it didn't buff out at all. I was climbing a hill and when i crested the top i didn't realize they laid a HUGE curb for this new housing development...safe to say it was at least 12-18inches tall on the back side (where i hit it) and it was like hiting a brick wall. From about 25mph to 0. Pushed the front drive back and cracked the t-case in half. Other damage to the front too...thats why i went SOA on d44's

I guarantee you will never see me drinking on the trail. Not that I am against it in moderation, but to an excess, it can have a lot of bad effects. For youself and other on the run with you. And WE repair the trails, with cleanups and destack parties!:D

when you say destack... is that like staking up rocks to climb over obstacles? just figure that the tree huggers wouldn't care about a few stacked up rocks. Look at sedona...rocks are stacked all over the place.

This is one place we agree with the tree huggers as well as the land managers :)
Stacking rocks ruins the run off, ruins the trail, and takes all the fun out of it.
Stacking may be necessary, but take them out when you are done please.
